jwsbuild compiles Java WorkShop projects.
jwsbuild[options]project-name.prj
Thejwsbuildcommand builds Java WorkShop projects from the command line. You can addjwsbuildcommands to makefiles and scripts. Some of the advantages of usingjwsbuildrather than calling the Java compiler directly are:
jwsbuildgets its information from the same project file as the Java WorkShop builder. This enables you to maintain the project definition a single location.jwsbuildautomatically generates the map file used by the Java WorkShop debugger. The project-name argument is the path name of the project file.
Options can be specified using the option's first character. For example,
/Kcan be used in place of/KEEPGOING.
The /javac and /JDKClasspath options must be spelled out entirely.
Options are available in both Microsoft Windows 95/NT and UNIX syntax. For compatibility, such as in makefiles and scripts, the Unix syntax ("-" delimiter) is recognized on both Microsoft Windows 95/NT and Solaris systems. UNIX syntax must be used on Solaris systems.
